How we select partners

We look for organizations working directly with underserved communities where online education can address specific skill gaps. Priority goes to groups that demonstrate measurable outcomes and sustainable models rather than short-term interventions.

Most of our partners operate regionally, focusing on areas where infrastructure limitations and economic constraints create the largest barriers to professional development. We fund technology access, instructor training, and curriculum development that aligns with local employment opportunities.

Our approach differs from typical grant programs. We provide multi-year commitments paired with technical consulting from our team, helping partners adapt UX design education to contexts where traditional methods fail.

Applications open twice annually. Organizations must serve at least 120 learners per year and show clear pathways from education to employment or improved income. We review proposals based on community need, operational capacity, and alignment with evidence-based teaching practices.
